Ultrafiltration (UF) is an advanced water treatment technology that employs semi-permeable membranes to separate contaminants from water. This process is particularly effective in removing suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens, making it essential for various applications, including drinking water purification and wastewater treatment. How Ultrafiltration Works Ultrafiltration operates on the principle of size exclusion. Water is pushed through a membrane with pore sizes typically ranging from 0.01 to 0.1 microns.
